Chris & Vanna Shackelford, Youth Ministers
Chris is a young passionate minister whose heart’s desire is to see the church on fire for Jesus Christ. Chris grew up in church in Southern Arkansas. He is 27 years old and serving as the Youth Minister for Family Worship Center. He is currently enrolled in Life Christian University majoring in Theology.
Vanna Shackelford has a heart for people and loves to see broken hearts healed and people delivered from sin. Vanna grew up in church in Southern Arkansas. She is 25 years old and serving with her husband as the Youth Minister for Family Worship Center.
Chris & Vanna met as sweethearts in high school and have been happily married now for 9 years. They are the proud parents of two sons, Caleb & Carter and a beautiful daughter, Mackenzie.
Chris & Vanna moved to Pawnee, OK by the leading of the Holy Ghost. They are here to do the Lord’s work and serve this community in such a way that the state, nation, and world will be impacted as a result. They believe that nothing is too big for God and are excited to see all the wonderful things that are going to happen right here in Pawnee.
Kerry & Lenora Gaskey, Youth Leaders
Kerry was born in Idabel, Ok and raised in Rattan, Ok. He is the oldest of his 2 siblings. Kerry wasn't raised in a Christian home but at the age of 16, at a small country church in Ratliff City, OK, Kerry gave his life to God and was filled with the Holy Spirit. A few months later, Kerry moved back to Rattan, Ok and without any spiritual family support, Kerry began running from God. Then in June of 1998, after attending a Revival in Pawnee, Ok under the ministry of Ricky Edwards, Kerry rededicated his life to God.
Kerry is a good old country boy who enjoys hunting, fishing, noodling, four-wheelin' and spending time with his family and friends. He is also a volunteer fireman for the town of Skedee, OK.
Kerry has served as youth leader, usher, sound department, nursery and has been a van driver for the youth and children's ministry.
Over these past 10 years, Kerry has gone from a knuckle head to a devoted father and a loving husband who has excelled in the things of God.
Lenora was born in Healdton, OK and spent most of her childhood in Claremore, OK and Ratliff City, Ok. She is 1 of 12 siblings. For the most part, Lenora was raised in a Christian home and was born again at an early age. At the age of 16, Lenora was filled with the Holy Ghost. It was then that she knew she was called to the ministry but becuase of insecurities and a lack of self esteem, she ran from the call. Then in Nov. of 1996, Lenora rededicated her life to Christ and decided to answer the call.
Lenora is a 2001 Graduate of Rhema Bible Training Center under Kenneth Hagin Ministries and a 2004 Graduate of AFCM under Jim Kaseman Ministries. She is a bubbly, fun loving person who enjoys a good time, four-wheelin', horses, reading and playing her drums. Her signature in life is the song, "Jesus Loves Me" and she believes that God has great things in store for this generation of young people. She is honored to be a part of what God is doing in the lives of young people in this end time.
Lenora has served 5 years in the Children's Ministry at F.W.C., spent 6 years in Youth Ministry, a member of the Praise and Worship Team for 11 years and counting and a nursery worker for the past 11 years and counting.
Kerry and his wife, Lenora, moved to Pawnee, Ok in 1998, where they became members of Family Worship Center under Pastors Ricky & Sally Edwards.
They were married on Feb. 14, 1996 and together they are the proud parents of a son, Tristan Lee and a daughter, Jolynn Elizabeth.
