I wanted to write and share a little about the new years eve service at FWC in Pawnee. Toward  the end of October I began to sense a adjustment or fine tuning for the ministry and of course that would include the traveling.  It seemed the Lord, by the Holy Ghost in me, was saying to not have meetings so close to one another. He spoke to me about some meetings would extend beyond the schedule planned out.

Do you remember when Bro Hagin told the story how he had got up from a nap and as he was walking across his living room how the teaching gift dropped down on the inside of him. He didn't tell anyone about this but started having teaching services, if I remember correctly, on Wednesday afternoon. He said that men started taking off of work to attend and how the meetings grew bigger than the normal Wednesday night crowd. He proved it out first.

Well, when the Lord spoke to me about how the meetings were going to extend, I didn't tell the Pastors. I proved it out first. Four of our last meetings the Pastors wanted them to extend but I had other meetings already booked. In one meeting, in Amarrillo, Texas, as we continued to have services, people from several denominations were coming and what a move of the Holy Ghost we saw and experienced! 

By hearing that story about Bro. Hagin receiving the teaching gift, it helped me to understand how to go about it to prove it out.

So this year, I am not having as many meetings as normal, so that I can leave our options open to continue a meeting, if God is in it and leads us to.

Now back to the New Years Eve service. That evening, Jesus came and talked to me about our meetings this year. I don't know the meaning of everything but I know that as we walk it out more will be revealed.

Do you remember when Peter fell into a trance on the roof top and saw a great four cornered sheet with a manner of four footed beast? The voice said, "Raise, kill and eat Peter."  But Peter said, "No. For nothing common or unclean has touched my lips." Then the voice said, "What God hath cleansed call not common or unclean."  Then he talks about it in Acts 10. Peter doubted the vision. Then it says while he thought on the vision. The Spirit said, "three men seek thou go with them doubting nothing." So when he got to Cornelius house Peter says that normally he wouldn't be caught with Gentiles,  but then he turns around and says, " I know God is not a respecter of person" and then preaches a message to Cornelius and all his house.  Peter was than able to see what all the things he saw then meant.

Sometimes as we start out or go doubting nothing (I am talking about something God spoke to you) but more will be revealed. 2012 is a year of the supernatural. A year of miracles. The year of the miraculous !!!!!!  In 2011, there were more invitations for us to come and preach than we could book.  I do not know how many meetings I will have this year but I do believe that the Lord has spoke to me about 2012 for Ricky Edwards Ministries. 

I want to thank each of you Partners for all of your help and for your trust in us. I love seeing each of you at our meetings when you've been able to attend.  I want to personally invite you to please come by and say hi to me when you are able to be in any of our meetings and let me know if you are an REM Partner. I would be honored to spend a minute with you. 

On the traveling side of R.E.M., there has also been some changes. The cost to put the Piper together right was just too much so it was sold for parts. When it comes to flying, Sally and I want our equipment done right.

However last June, Dr Dufresne began a Club, with a monthly payment plan, that offered the use of his Cessna 421 twin and his jet, to any F.O.F member.  The only cost outside the monthly payment, is the fuel we use and the cost of hiring a pilot. There is no insurance to purchase, no hanger fees, or mechanic fees. 

The only thing is the planes are in California most of the time. However, they are working on finding an available place to station the planes where they would be closer.

Our pilot, Joe Higgins, has recently purchased a single engine Cherokee Six that is stationed at Stillwater airport. So when flying for now, we are able to hire our pilot to use his Cherokee Six,  and then pay for the fuel as well as an hourly fee. The only problem we have on this deal, is that our Pilot Joe, still flies for another company and also still works with his Dad, which makes him have a very busy schedule. 

Last year, I was led to help Dad Dufresne with the monthly payment on his jet. There were others who also agreed to help him on a monthly basis for one year. R.E.M is committed to helping my spiritual father is this area. I am also looking into a couple of other things in the area of traveling.  

As the meetings are extending, commercial airlines are just out of the question. The cost to change your schedule, is sometimes double the original cost, for round trip. So we have considered buying different automobiles that are comfortable with good mileage.  The Lord will lead us into this new era by the Holy Ghost and we will not lack in any area.

At this time, I am in Deming New Mexico. The service we had two days ago in Phoenix was so powerful that it could have continued.  However, the Pastor did ask us to come back as soon as we could and hold a longer meeting. 

I also wanted to let you know that we are excited to have been invited to Russia, Thailand, and Old Mexico this year and we believe that the Lord will lead us.

Thank you for your monthly support to me and the ministry that the Lord Jesus Christ has given to me. 

Last month we wrote about John 4 and John 7, the well in you and the river that flows through you to others! 

At the time of my writing this letter I am in Harcourt, Iowa.  This message is a very strong word, not to beat down, cause guilt, or hurt but to help us see greater revelation so we can walk in greater victory. 

In I Corinthians 1:2 the letter is written unto the Church of God at Corinth.  So it is to Christian people! 

I Corinthians 11:30 Paul writes and says For this Cause.  Cause = it denotes the channel of an act or occasion (How it came) because of that, or by reason of so Paul is writing to Christian people and saying the reason Christians get sick is different that of the heathen! 

To my Partners, I will be sending you Thursday night teaching while in Harcourt. 

The reason heathen or unsaved people are sick is because they are still under the curse of the Law.  They are still full heir to Adam’s fall, and the penalty of sin that came.  Romans 5:12 

But anyone In Christ (2Cor. 5:17) is redeemed from the curse of the Law (Gal. 3:13).  So when Paul wrote I Cor. 11:30 “For this cause” He is saying the Christian is not sick for the same reason a non-believer is.  If a Christian has been redeemed from 3-fold curse of the Law (Spiritual Death, Sickness & Disease, Poverty & Lack) then that’s why Paul said “For this Cause” many are weak and sickly.  That’s to Christian Folks. 

Example:   years ago in a meeting, I laid hands on person for bad knees.  As soon as I touched them, the Holy Ghost said on the inside of me, “They are holding un-forgiveness against a person”.  So I ask this person if that was correct.  They said yes.  Now think about this, since this person is a Christian the bad knees are not because they are under the Curse of the Law.  There is a Cause!!!  Deal with the Cause and bad knees will go!  The person repented (this was all done so the crowd did not hear).  As soon as they repented (we’ve dealt with the cause). Not the curse of the law, the person received 2 NEW KNEES!!  After all those years still good knees!! 

If a person who’s not saved had come with bad knees I would deal with them differently than I did with that Christian person.  The lost person would still be under the Curse of The Law. 

Brother Hagin would tell us, he would go 20-25 years not even knowing he had a body, meaning he had no problems physically.  He called it Divine Health.  If a symptom (heart trouble) came, usually he had disobeyed God.  So there was a cause. 

If a child of God is sick for a Cause but only quotes Matt. 8:18 or I Peter 2:24 and says the stripes of Jesus I am healed.  What must one do?  Deal with the cause so healing can flow!! 

Three weeks ago while ministering in Texas my left ankle swelled up.  It was very painful.  Then it began to have red streaks start up my leg.  As soon as I got home I went to the Doctor.  The diagnosis was Cellulites’.  Now I had laid hands on my leg and spoke the Work of God over it and to it, but no results.  I was not making the connection.  I then asked God (amazing that until we ask He won’t say anything) I asked God what is going on.  “You have been murmuring about going so much and we have already had this discussion before.” 

Even though I had laid hands on my leg, quoted healing scriptures, Word of God was coming out of my mouth.  

Since I am a Christian I had to deal with the Cause Not the Curse!  As soon as I repented I was completely whole!!! 

The cause of sickness in the Body of Christ is different many times than the cause of sickness in the world.  Cause of sickness in the world is because they fell heir to Adam’s sin and transgression, but the Church has been redeemed from Curse of the Law so there are a number of different reasons or causes for sickness & disease in the body.  Sometimes before you can get a Christian healed you have got to find what the cause is.

I wanted to give a report on the book project.  The teaching C.D.’s from the Phoenix ministers meeting, are very close to being transcribed.  We are getting very close to printing.  Thank you all of you for your help and support!

I wanted to write again to you about John 4:10-14 and John 7:38-39.  We will look at the difference between the river of living water in you and rivers of water for service.

In John 4,  Jesus says by and through the Holy Ghost that in the new birth the believer can drink from the well inside of Him.

Years ago I knew a Assembly of God minister Rev. F. C. Drake.  He had started and established 7 churches.  They are all still going today.  In His ministry, Jesus had appeared to Him, Angels would appear and assist him.  As he grew into his late 80’s around 88 years old, he had congestive heart failure.  Sometimes he would have Sister Drake call us to come and pray for him.  Once when we were talking, he told me during his ministry 3 people were raised from the dead, blindness, and deafness were healed.  The he asked the question to me, “How come God would do all those things through him, but yet not heal him of congestive heart failure?”  I knew the answer because of some things Brother Hagin had taught, but I was a young man.  I did not qualify to bring correction to this older minister.

The answer is this:  Brother Drake had learned to flow with the Holy Ghost in the river, but he thought he should be able to drink or receive from the river that flowed through him.  Do you remember Brother Hagin telling  those in the Healing Revival that when they were gone he would still be around, because they were building on the Gifts of the Spirit, but he was building on the Word of God!

Remember the letters wrote after time when we spoke of I Cor. 12:28.  A list of Ministry Gifts, special endowments, meaning there are those in specific area’s that will have greater success.  But in Mark 9:23 Jesus said, “All things are possible to him that believeth.”  All means ALL!!!!  So this verse is talking about anyone who will believe the Word of God and act upon it, can have whatsoever!

So the River or flow of the Holy Ghost through you or me is for the Body of Christ and Humanity.  Maybe some of you can relate to this.  I have had symptoms in my physical body of pain or sickness and pray for someone sick, and they were healed by the Power of God.  That flow of the Power of God through me was for the people.  I had to stand on the Word of God for the symptoms to leave.  Or have another brother or sister who carries a healing flow minister to me.  I can drink from other’s river.

In 2 Kings 13:20-21 the Bible records that Elisha died and was buried.  The funeral procession saw enemies coming, so they tossed the body of a young man into the same sepulcher.  When the young man’s body touched the BONES of Elisha, it raised him up from the dead!!  He Stood-UP.

Now think about this, there was enough anointing left just in his bones to raise a dead man back to life.  Yet Elisha died, carrying that much anointing!  So how come that power couldn’t keep Elisha alive.  Couple of reasons, 1.  No one will live physically forever!  2.  The anointing upon Elisha was for the people, or the flow of the river was for others!

Hello Partners & Friends:

I am so excited about all the wonderful things that God has done and is doing in all of our lives. As all of you are aware, God has so graced Sally to pastor with me at Family Worship Center. This has been a tremendous blessing, as I am able to go out more as God continues to open doors for us.

In Isaiah 1:19 it says, “If ye being willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land.”

So this month, I am sending you a DVD and a letter to let you know and see all of the blessings of the Lord.

Last month, we did not send a letter, having just moved into our new office building. The offices are beautiful and very productive for REM, FWC and our Media Department. It’s great to all be in one building. The staff that God has given us is excellent. Sally and I are so blessed. There are times that all of us are being stretched to keep up with the growth and the increase in every area. But again, our staff flows in unity and love. They work very hard and sometimes very long hours without complaining. If anytime you are in the Pawnee area, please stop in and see the building. I am not here very much but someone will show you around!

Also, Family Worship Center is currently having a contract prepared to purchase a little over 13 acres of land by Pawnee Lake.

When I was a kid, this property was the drive in theatre. So it is terraced and sloped. Our first phase then, is to purchase and grade the land so that it is fairly level. Then we will begin to prepare to build.

Besides the location and acreage of the land, another thing we love about the property, is that it comes with a house on it. This house will soon house our Youth Pastors, Bro. Chris and his family. (Look what the Lord has done!)

On top of all that, let me announce that as of Wednesday, March 11, 2009, our new R.E.M. Aircraft, the Piper Aztec, has landed in Stillwater, Oklahoma.

There will need to be some radio and navigational work done before we start using it, but praise God, we got it! I plan on using this one very much! It will stay in the air a lot! For those of you interested in seeing our new Aircraft, we will post a picture of it on the web just as soon as we can. We are so thankful to God for the ability to not only go more but for being able to go faster and farther with it being easier on my physical body!

So, to each of you Partners, I would like to say a very special “Thank You” for helping me. The monthly support that you send is a very vital part of how we are able to stay on the road as much as we are.

Finally, there are also some things in my heart about building a house with several rooms in it that are self contained. They will be called healing rooms. This project is a little ways down the road, but I can see it now with the eye of faith. So it is closer now than ever before.

I am writing to you to bring everyone up to speed concerning Ricky Edwards Ministries. In January of 2008, we had a special time of prayer with the ‘Watchmen’, here at Family Worship Center. In my spirit, I knew that there were to be some changes. Of course, one can speculate what is coming, but, thank God for the Holy Ghost who knows all things! So, as we came together and prayed, clarity came, by the Holy Ghost, on what to do!

The first thing, was to sell the airplane and recover any equity that was available. Thank God for the two years we were blessed with that wonderful piece of equipment. So, by mid April the plane was gone.

Second, He (the Holy Ghost) said to me, “I want you to sow $50,000 and believe me for $100,000 over and above that. I asked Him what to do with the $100,000. He told me that He would let me know. He then said that I needed to sow in order to get into the next flow by 2009. The flow that I was presently operating in was not great enough for the flow that I would need to be in by 2009. He told me that the way that I was going to get there was by sowing and reaping, not gimmicks or pressure put on the people. So, REM is sowing so that we can get into that flow!

Third, He asked me to commit to fly commercially, or drive, for the next year to year and a half. Since mid-April, we have been flying commercially and driving to meetings. We are so thankful to be in the perfect will of God!

God has really blessed Sally and I and our entire family! The anointing has greatly increased in teaching and ministry. The meetings are so wonderful. I am very thankful for what Brother Hagin taught us by the Holy Ghost.

Keep the Word first! Stay with the Word! Even though we have come into a new era, the teaching of the Word must always be first!

So, to you partners who have helped us so very much, I wanted to write and let each of you know how much we appreciate you to let you know what we are doing.

I do believe, in the near future, that another plane will be coming into Ricky Edwards Ministries. The meetings are continuing to increase in number and the anointing. Just since January we have flown commercially eight places and driven to meetings nine times.

By your monthly support, you help me continue to obey what God has asked me to do. Again, I say, “Thank you very much!”
